The painting “THE GIFT OF THE WORLD” by artist Nguyen Duc Lam is an extremely impressive image. Under a lotus pond with pink lotus flowers and green leaves, a sacred symbol of Buddhism, is a closed Buddha’s eyes. In the center of the picture is a glowing human heart, a blinding yellow light. The color in the picture is mainly a dark, blurry color, which emphasizes the focus of the image of the glowing heart. That is probably the most sacred and valuable gift that the Buddha gave to the world. The picture is like an enlightenment, realizing a seemingly simple thing that not everyone understands. That is, life is the most important. Life is the most meaningful gift that people have to practice for many lifetimes to be fortunate to have. Therefore, as human beings, we must know how to cherish and preserve life, never arbitrarily give up our lives.
