The lily blooms, April signals the coming of summer, through the work the author wants to convey his very own feelings about the moment of transition from spring to summer. We see in the main picture that the green color of the spring is still the main color, but somewhere there is still cold, the gloom of winter is still falling through the deep gray tones.
