Lotus – the quintessential flower of nature and heaven, the flower symbolizing the national color of Vietnam. But in Buddhism, the lotus flower is also an extremely beautiful and sacred symbol, symbolizing the noble, pure, and dust-free quality of human beings. The painting depicts pink lotus flowers floating on the blue river, or the river of life. And the image of the Buddha of compassion exists dimly, mysteriously on the right side of the picture, like the person who is on the side to protect the people, the pieces of life, no matter where they are pushed and drifted by life, but the soul is always clean, shining, pure like pink lotus flowers.
