Afternoon is always a very beautiful, very romantic time of the day, so it always becomes an endless source of inspiration for art and especially painting. Perhaps painter Vo Duc Long also had moments of softness before a peaceful afternoon in his homeland, which then prompted him to create this unique “Golden Afternoon” work. Like its name, the main color of the painting is a yellow color with many different shades: sometimes it is a rich yellow color, yellow like the bright sunlight reflected in the river of the homeland. the river’s surface is as if inlaid with a dazzling layer of pure gold; but there are times when the yellow color is only fleeting, as if mixed in the smoke of the afternoon.
