An oil painting called “Early” by artist Le Huu Long, which, according to his introduction, is a work about the life of fishermen in the morning at Thuan An beach in Hue city. The painting makes a strong impression on viewers, because of its wonderful colors, especially the color of the sky – the color of the early morning dawn. That’s when the first rays of a new day are glimmering in the sky. The sky with dark and bright spaces interspersed, some places are bright yellow with a little orange, others are black and deep blue as if the night is still lingering. The coast stretches far to the horizon, with white foaming waves, embracing the long sandy beach full of boats, baskets – familiar items to prepare for a day at sea. The highlight perhaps not everyone can see of the picture is the image of a fisherman holding an oil lamp that lights up an area of ​​white sand, so small between the sea and the immense sky, with a figure of hard work, but exudes an extremely valuable labor beauty.
